My passion

My passion is cricket. Cricket has been through my blood. My dad is a really fast and accurate bowler and he is a Spectacular batsman. My cousin Thivindu is the same but Thivindu was the captain of the prems team. My other cousin (Thisula) is the same as my dad because I don’t know if he got in the prems team. I got my inspiration from them. I’m training 24/7 to be like them or even better. I desperately want to be in the blackcaps. I’m also inspired by Kane Williamson and Kumar Sangakkara. Kane Williamson has great technique and plays a major role for the blackcaps and Kumar Sangakkara is amazing and when he left Sri Lanka began to suck. Well, that’s why my passion is cricket.  

Maddi's Writing About Her Gym Competition

I sprinted along the strip,pounce up on the beatboard and land on the spongy foam mat.I take a step forward and reach onto the mat,place my hands  on the squishy mat,then my feet fly up in the air and I slowly fall on my back to stand up nicely and present to the judges. Twisters walk nicely to the next apparatus. I carefully hold my L hold for 3 chocolate cakes. I hop on the beatboard and glide I re-grip at the end and do another,I chin up then swing my legs over.

Hayley And Viking

It was a casual day down at the ranch, Kayla was mucking out, Tom was sweeping and Hayley was getting the horses tacked up and all ready to ride. Kayla rushed to Rocko As Rocko was Hayley’s favourite Horse, Tom raced to his horse Ono and they left Viking for Haley. They mounted the horses and went up a rocky trail. When they got to the top they went for a Gallop Kayla had trouble getting Rocko to stop , Rocko is an Ex racehorse. Kayla lost control of Rocko and went flying off. Hayley and Tom raced to her and Rocko raced to the gate.

Kayla was unconscious and wouldn’t move. Tom called the hospital for help, Hayley mounted Viking to show the ambulance where Kayla was while Tom was keeping her company. Hayley’s Mum , Mary, heard about the accident and raced onto her horse and cantered to Kayla.

1 month later Tom was coming back from Europe, Kayla was out of hospital and it was Hayley’s birthday. Mary was making a special breakfast while Hayley was in bed, she woke up , put on her dressing gown and yawned as she was walking to the kitchen.

As soon as she caught a glimpse of Tom and Kayla at the dining room table she raced to them and gave them a tight hug, She was so happy that her friends were back. Mary , Kayla and Tom pulled Hayley into the barn for a surprise present, Hayley closed her eyes and Mary pointed her towards a stall and a sign said ‘’ This is your new pony, Charlie! ‘’. Hayley had tears of joy pouring down her cheeks.

Mary already had Charlie tacked up and ready for Hayley to ride. Hayley got on her Jogphrs and Polo shirt and mounted Charlie excitedly. Charlie was really forward for Hayley unlike Viking. 1 hour later Tom , Kayla and Hayley went out to town and saw a horseback competition poster about entering an competition at Graymade Stables. They all went back to the ranch and called up Graymade reception and they said that Viking is in because Rocko can’t lift his feet up and Ono refuses to jump.

Tomorrow is the competition. Hayley and Viking are going for 1 metre 20, Hayley and Viking started practicing over and over again , They both got exhausted , his hooves were thumping on the ground when he landed a jump. Charlie heard the thumping and whinnied loudly, Mary sternly walked up to Charlie’s stall and placed hay in his feed bucket.

The day came, they loaded Viking onto the float. He was thumping his hooves like he was mad. When they got there they unloaded Viking out of the float, he pearched his his head up towards the clouds and scraped his hoof on the fresh green grass.

Hayley got Viking’s gear polished and tacked him up so he’s ready to go. At the show there was Dressage, Trick Riding and Show jumping, Hayley and Viking are doing show jumping up to 6 feet. Mary, Kayla and Tom were sitting in the crowd while Hayley and Viking were lining up and getting prepared to go. Their name came out clear of the mic, and off they went. Viking loved jumping, he didn’t miss a single pole, they led in the top 3.

When all the riders had finished they announced the winners..

3rd place.. Ashley Parker, 2nd place.. Amy Flemming and 1st place is….. Hayley Rose! The crowd went wild, Mary was super proud and Kayla, but sadly Tom had to leave.

The next morning at 6:50 am, Hayley got up, got dressed and went to the barn to check on the horses, Charlie was standing up munching on his hay.. But when Hayley peaked over Viking’s stall gate he was lying on the ground, he wasn’t breathing, Hayley called the vet, she was petrified. The vet arrived at the ranch, Mary woke up and hugged Hayley, Viking got many injections but he couldn’t stand up.. Hayley had to make a decision to make Viking go to slaughter. Hayley cried and hugged Viking so hard as Tom and Kayla walked in, they all sat next to Viking as they put him on the stretcher.

Viking had left to slaughter, Hayley thought of him everyday. Hayley trained Charlie for many months.

In an old and horrible town lived a lolly factory everyone wanted to go inside it but the wired gate was always shut, until a notice got put up all around the town it said that two people were allowed to go in and look around. All you had to do was buy a ticket and you would go into the draw. A little kid about 8 years old bought a ticket with his parents money, the tickets were $1, he used all of the money their family had. He hoped and hoped that he would be one of the two people. Soon the TV show was on that would announced who won out of the thousands of people. Then they announced the first person she was called Rosy and the second person…. The little boy, he jumped up and down on his bed then raced down the stairs to tell everyone that he had won. When it came to the day he waited outside the spiky gate he waited there for ages and ages, he started to think that he missed it and the day had already been, but the guards came out and invited him in...

At home I have a pet Rabbit called Snowcrystal and I

absolutely adore her and I’m going to tell you how to care for a Rabbit if you want to get one.

About my Rabbit:

Snowcrystal is a Minilop cross a Netherland Dwarf because her Mum is a Minilop and her Dad is a Netherland Dwarf. Witch makes her that breed. Snowcrystal is a very good Rabbit and a kind Rabbit and

a very good size for kids because she won’t grow to big.

How to take care of a Rabbit:

In the morning I have to do jobs for her. This is what I have to do Open her trap door,Give her new water, Get

new Pallets and Change her Hay ( If needed)

Needs for a Rabbit:

Pet drinking bottle or bowl

Hay

Pallets

Wood shavings or Newspaper

Blankets for bedding

About the hutch:

Rabbits need a good space to live in so to make sure the hutch is big enough  for a Rabbit you need to:

Make sure that it has upstairs and downstairs.Upstairs you want to have a separated bit the small bit s

for a bedroom and the other for an entrance to a grass area and for the food and water.

The who dunnit mystery

The splat of blood collided with the old warehouse wall. A brown headed, frozen hazel eyed head rolled down a block of wood. The head stopped in front of a figure wearing huge hobnail boots. Unusually huge.

No scream could be heard that night. The figure strode back out to join the seaside party.

Newspapers said Henry Zimmerock, age:27, formula scientist, murdered the old fashioned way.

Police constable went into his warehouse last night after hosting a seaside party, found Henry's head next to a axe and block.

Change

My response to missing morning tea made my blood sugar go low.I got super hungry because one thing about my diabetes is I need to eat at regular times.I thought it was unfair that the people that were working and being quiet should get a morning tea but they should have told them they were being too loud and be quiet,but what if they didn’t see them.That is my response to change.

    Bob and John

One good day was coming to Bob and John.They were going to their grandpa's house.They love to go there, because grandpa would give them a ball to play with.Bob was feeling strong and went on the trampoline and jumped up and kicked it high into space...John was shocked!Bob was scared and told John not to tell grandpa.There was a magic spell in part of space and the ball got sucked into it then the ball was glowing and then  went back to earth.Bob and John saw a tiny spec that was glowing.It was getting bigger and bigger untill John cried it’s the ball!Bob was ready to catch it.But the ball now had the power to transform into anything!So the ball transformed into a bird and flew down it’s self!Bob and John were still terrified to tell grandpa...What should we do now?Said John.Don’t ask me!Said Bob...

One day Brittany and Amelia had a play date, they had fun until the ball came…

They both wanted the ball so bad so they tugged it at each other and argued over it. “It’s mine!” grouched Amelia “No it’s mine! ”shouted Brittany then… KA-BANG! “Ah where am I?” Wondered Amelia “Ew what is this place” Brittany complained, Brittany ended up in a yucky farm and Amelia ended up in a  glorious mansion.

Down came a grouchy old man heading towards Brittany, ”Get to work missy!” The man shouted “but-” she shouted “NO TIME TO TALK” he explained. Down at the mansion, where Amelia was,a kind and a posh gentlemen came along and asked “May I get you anything?” Amelia was confused so she said nothing. ”Ok”… kindly the man replied. After an hour they both teleported back to their house but Brittany came back with disgusting clothes with mud everywhere and Amelia came back with a very beautiful dress but then Brittany and Amelia started fighting over the dress.

SKY and Summer

Sky took the ball off Summer(next thing you know)... Summer chased after Sky then the ball suddenly swooped out of Sky’s slippery and greasy hands, then it started to sink. Sky and Summer were also called the S.S.(Sky and Summer) sisters as their sisterly name. Sky has light brown hair which goes up to her back,she is very sporty, she loves art and she is fashionable. Summer has light brown hair which is medium lengthed but she loves fashion and art and she likes sport to. Summer and Sky are twins and they are very fast as well. So the S.S. sisters both chased after their ball as if it was a $500 bill note. Once they reached the very bottom of the pool the shiny white tile  twisted over then it sucked the S.S. sisters in with their smiley faced ball ahead of them and it lead them to a extremely mysterious hole.

The Thunderman twins came out to play Netball.Phoebe and Max.They always loved to have competitive games

against each other to win stuff. Anyway today they were

fighting over the T.V. Today was Phoebe’s sleepover with

her friends… Cherry,Winnie and a few other girls. Phoebe

had planned to watch Teen Beach 2 at her sleepover with

berry smoothies and ultimate super buttered popcorn. So

Phoebe and Max decided that they would have three

Netball games and see who would win the most.They also made a deal that they would be allowed to use their superpowers and bionic powers.They also made a deal that they could request no more than two people to be a part of

their Netball team. So Phoebe called up Cherry and Whinnie and Max called up Oyster and Gideon.So there team mates arived and they got ready to play some Netball.They put on some appropriate clothes and warmed

up  then they started playing.Max and his team won the

first  game he won by twenty goals and Phoebe and her team won by sixteen goals.Phoebe and her team conquered the other two Netball games.Phoebe and her team for the rest of the afternoon went on chanting we won the T.V.So the friends ended up watching Teen beach 2 and having the best sleepover ever.The end.

Horse’s.

The pretty blue roan mare gave a final heave then became still.The rest of the mares stood not far of.The handsome black and white stallion stood on a hill looking down on his new son.The mare stood up then began licking her newborn Colt.The colt was very handsome.He was black with one white sock on his front left leg and a chestnut mane and tail.All in all he looked more like his father, the stallion,than his mother.Suddenly his forelegs shot out,startling his mother and making her jump backwards.After a few attempts he finally managed to stand up on his long,skinny legs.He tottered over to his mother then started suckling hungrly.His stubby little chestnut tail started to comically swirl around in circles.Finally he dropped of to sleep along with the rest of the herd.

What did I think about today’s change?

Well, I felt really hungry and I thought that I was going to starve to death. I felt quite sorry for the people that worked

really hard and who finished their work, they had to suffer

from the people who were being silly. It was unfair for the

sensible people to stay in and miss their yummy, morning tea and lunch.But it WAS fair for the silly people to stay in the classroom and finish their work. The silly people

deserve to stay in at morning tea and lunch and do their

work because while they were suppose to be doing their

work, they were talking to each other and they were playing a bit. The sensible people should go and have their morning tea and lunch because they were working

really hard and finishing off their work.

That is what I thought about today’s change.

I was upset and hungry because we didn’t have morning tea at the right time. I think it’s fair and unfair, I think it’s fair because other people should tell them to stop and be responsible. It’s not fair because people are working really hard, so they couldn’t focus on anything around them.
